Typical session plan: When you arrive I will offer to take your coat, show you where your seat is for the session and offer you a drink. After we have the formalities out of the way we will take five minutes to leave the world outside, drop our stress and get ready to focus on ourselves/the session. This will be done either through a breathing exercise or a gentle mediation.
Once we are ready we will catch up on the previous weeks challenges and start the session.
When the session is coming to an end we will gather all the work, take the photos and then stop for a couple of minutes and do a breathing meditation. This will give you a couple of minutes to gather your thoughts and get ready for the rest of your day,
Course work: You will have exercises to do that help you get clear and focused on the sessions theme. They will be printed out ready for you session. I will take photos of any board work we do so that you can have a visual reminder of your work. I will provide a notebook, pen and a tote for you to keep your work in.
Visualisation and meditation: Please wear clothing that you can relax in. Something baggy and that you feel comfortable wearing through a guided meditation. I will provide a blanket if you feel like you need one.
Integration work: To get the most of the course you will need to take the concepts and challenges out of the 'classroom' and into your daily life. I will set some goals or thought experiments for you at the end of each session. I will have these instructions printed off for you to take home.

Your experience will be better if you have somewhere comfortable to meditate in. Sometimes having a blanket to had can be an easy way to start relaxing.

The first step on this journey is the free introductory session. In this session you will get to ask me questions and really check out if this approach is right for you and if you feel you want me to be the person who goes on this journey with you. We will be able to sound out each other to make sure together we can achieve a productive relationship.
When we are clear we are good to work together the next step is to help me get a real picture of the things you are dealing with in your life. I will give you a questionnaire about your life as it stands at the moment. The purpose of this questionnaire is to make sure I know where you are in your life. what your religion is, your daily pressures etc. All this information will enable me to tailor the course bespoke to you.
At the same time the client contract form will be sent out. I will ask you to read and sign this. For me this is one of the core parts of your journey. Your commitment to yourself and this opportunity is the most essential ingredient to you getting a practical and authentic sense of change. An opportunity for you to really set your motivation and solidify your determination to focus on yourself and the process. After all what you put in you will get out, an old adage but a true one
Once all the introductory sessions and information is sorted we will decide together the best times for your sessions and you can decide if you want to come and see me in person or do the sessions over the internet.
On this course you will learn essential skills like positive self reflection, visualisation and meditation. You will leave with a clear understanding of how these skills personally help, effect you and are useful and practical for you.
It is important for you to understand that this course will be a gentle sieving away of the things you do not feel are applicable to you. I believe gaining insight into yourself should be a gentle and joyful feeling of uncovering. One that leaves you with the gems that are the foundation of a stronger and clearer you. My approach is practical but gentle and my focus is as much on the sessions being comfortable and light as they are on you leaving at the end of the course with your goals in place and an enthusiasm to start living by them.
In each session you will be asked to do tasks like complete worksheets, priority ordering and writing down of goals, etc. The session work I prioritise will depend on your interests and you can be assured that the work chosen for you will be picked with your individual journey in mind.
Initially the work will feel difficult because we are generally not used to listening to ourselves, never mind going through the process of pulling that information into conscious coherent sentences. However, this process of learning to hear our inner feelings and giving them a voice is an essential part of any journey that holds your core values at heart. We are all unique and have our own way of accessing and understanding our inner guide. It will not take long until you are able to confidently translate this internal knowledge and work with it.
We will investigate concepts such as:
Your Higher Self, coincidences, signs and guidance, your connection to your belief system and faith, what our higher purpose is, positive thinking vs negative thinking, manifestation - what is that about and how does it work practically in our life, how to tell what is good for us and release things that are not, Confidence in our own inner voice, etc.
Through the process of discussing these things you will have the chance to really work out what you actually believe in. What you can take with you to move confidently forward into your future. A future that will be shaped around your beliefs, values and goals.
You will leave the course with many practical skills and tools that you will be able to use to keep yourself aligned and confidently acting on your personal guidance.
We will talk through how to deal with the negative influences in your life, how to become aware of them and how to use them to keep you on track.
How to spot when you are slipping back into old patterns and how to remind yourself what your core desires are.
We will investigate the self reflection tools that work for you.
By the end of the course you will have a better understanding of yourself and what motivates you. You will be able to move forward with positivity and clarity and begin to create a life that is in line with your highest purpose and potential.
